This is the corporate development scheme for engineering and science graduates seeking a career with the Ministry of Defence.

For Engineers and Scientists this is probably the best Graduate Development Scheme in the UK; assuming no previous working experience, we will invest heavily in you (over and above your salary, the investment in support of your personal professional development is around £20,000 per year!) aiming to take you through to Chartered status in your profession within just four years of commencing the DESG Graduate Scheme.

Chartered Engineers and Scientists are an important asset to the Ministry of Defence and as a result the scheme has developed in accordance with the requirements of many Professional Institutions. This has allowed for formal development plans to be applied to the scheme with the the aim of our Graduates achieving Chartered status. Find out more
